I bought this because it says the seat width was 15.75” in the picture, and that’s the size I was specifically looking for, but it was in fact the standard 13”. Returned it without even putting it together. The seat cushion was thin and stiff looking.Returned it because seat was standard 13.75", and not the advertised 15.75".Assembly is straightforward, a matter of minutes. It rolls away pretty good and smooth and the cushion is comfortable enough. If it have gone higher to adjust to a bar level height it would have been great but you can't win them all I guess. Good stool to have around the garage to help with all kind of jobsThis is a decent stool as far as tasks stools go. It's sturdy, firm, and the seat is well cushioned. The padding won't give under a lot or weight -- you won't feel your bones grinding into the hard base. However, it's just that, a really firm round pad. There is no contour whatsoever. It's somewhat a couple of steps up from sitting on bare wood. I weight 130lb so I can't say what it would be like for someone heavier but I think it will hold very firm.I want to say that it's not comfortable but I think for moving around an office or shop and getting up and down it will serve its purpose just fine. And if you're sitting in it for extended periods of time, it will hold up and not sink. It won't elevate to counter height, shy by a couple of inches at it's highest. At lowest, I can put my feet flat on the floor without any pressure under my legs on the edge of the seat (I'm 5'2").The cushion though is not perfectly round which makes the construction look a bit cheap. Pity -- the materials are decent and the mechanisms work well, like the gas lift, wheels and rotation. I do like that this comes in white.Functional piece which will be hardwearing. A little imperfect but it serves it purpose well. So, essentially this could take less than 5 minutes to put together... probably close to half that in fact. However, the bottom base is screwed in over the plastic cover of the seat, so IF you want it to be neater and get all the plastic protective cover off, then you will have unscrew 4 screws and redo them after removing it properly. This wasn't hard to do.It's basic and works. It adjusts to lower than a typical office chair, which lends it to being a footstool while I'm sitting in my usual computer chair. However, it will also adjust up to about where most office chairs do. The product itself seems decent quality. It has a good amount of firm padding. The stitching is not perfectly symmetrical, and it has a stray line on the top of it... so it has very slight cosmetic errors... not that they will matter when you are sitting on them. This suis my purpose for a quick stool for some jobs, and a footstool when I need to put my feet up too. Happy with it.Review for: Height Adjustable Rolling Swivel Stool Chair with Round Seat Heavy Duty Metal Base for Salon,Massage, Factory, Shop (Without Backrest, White)Once assembled, this is a nice looking and working stool. It rolls easily on a hard floor and will roll, with some effort, on a low pile rug. It is easy to raise up or down and has the dimensions stated on the product page. The seat if a faux leather that looks nice but of course won’t wear like real leather. The wheels are called medical wheels on the product page and I can’t tell if they are plastic or nylon but the are quiet and smooth. My one issue is the lack of instructions in the box. After figuring out how to assemble the stool without any instructions, I went through every piece of information on the product page. Way at the bottom and in small print I found a sentence that stated, “ Remove the plastic cap on the top of the gas lift before assembly! This is a part of packaging only!“ This information that should have been included in the box! The stool does not come back apart to remove this piece.I do feel this stool might be a bit overpriced after comparing it to similar ones available. This shipping was super fast and it came packaged well. This came in 4 pieces and did not require any bolts to assemble. Literally took just a couple minutes. You get the base, cylinder, seat, and castors. The stool is sturdy. It holds weight well and slides across the floor easily. It’s not heavy and is pretty lightweight. It is comfortable to sit on and has a height adjustment lever on the side for the cylinder. The only complaint I have is the castors. They are just made from plastic and depending on where you using this can depend on how long those castors will last. If used in a shop like what I’m doing then I don’t see them lasting for very long. Going across concrete will be hard on those plastic castors. WhTs good though is they are a somewhat common size so it wouldn’t be hard tofind replacement castors for this stool. Would I recommend getting this stool. You bet. It is sturdy and seems to be well made. The price is what you would expect on this so yes I would definitely recommend. It was very easy to assemble. Even though wheels are hard plastic it glides quite well over an uneven tile floor. Its very lightweight and yet feels decently sturdy, and adjusts height with the standard lever.
