My Mother is 92 and needed a chair like this--and she (therefore I!) am EXTREMELY pleased. Easy assembly (I had the advantage of putting together a similar chair a few years back), solid, and easy to operate. While this is far from the most expensive power lift chair on Amazon, it does everything that it is advertised to do-can't ask for more than that!I like it’s a extra recliner to sleep. The chair need a carpet to prevent moving back.Very comfortable. When I wake up during the night I seated at the chair.Approve this chair .Used this chair to sleep in reclined position after my right shoulder surgery. Needed a chair with left side controls. This recliner is not the best quality, but it pictured controls on left. Quality is not bad and probably best you'll get at this price and with these options. It's comfortable and the electronics work well.When the chair arrived it only had controls on the right side so I messaged the seller believing that I would need to return it, but instead Consofa offered to send me out a handheld lift remote for my needs. What an awesome idea. They understood my needs and made it happen at no extra cost.For this service alone I would buy from this company againThank youTwo of the main reasons I do not like this chair is that the "fake" leather (which does not "breathe" like a fabric chair would) makes it very warm and your clothes get very damp if you are in the chair for quite a while. I bought this chair because I was having shoulder surgery and would have to sleep in a recliner for a minimum of 4-6 weeks, instead of being able to sleep in my bed. Also, I understood from all the info about the chair, that to position yourself, the control was a remote - which is what I needed as I would not be able to press any buttons on the right side of the chair. When it came and my son assembled it, there was the control on the right side of the chair!! The "remote" (not a true remote, but a plug in one) was only to control the massage features!! As a result, I have to reach (with great difficulty) across my body with my left arm and hand to operate the control; I can barely reach it. It is not a very comfortable chair to have to sleep in; the headrest portion leaves a lot to be desired also as you can't regulate that part independent from the feet, and so I have to use a pillow to support my neck. I'm "lucky" if I get 3 hours of sleep. So, if I could send the chair back, I would!! I guess I will have to try to pawn it off on someone else!! Needless to say, I will NEVER buy a piece of furniture online ever again. I will continue to go to a furniture store to purchase such items as in the past.We bought this lift chair for my 83 year old mother. She has a lot of weakness in her legs and back due to stenosis and other arthritic pain. It was easy to assemble, comfortable, and a really good value for the money.So happy with this purchase.
