It's great that it is microwavable, unlike ordinary hot stones. It retains heat well. I do think it is a bit heavy. I'm using it to simply warm my hands after I wash them in between clients. I dont use it as a massage tool. I do glide it around my own body sometimes, it seems heavy to me to use the way I use the ordinary hot stones that go in the water for ordinary hot stone massage.Works good. Holds heat wellI wish it holds temp longer. I used to have stone which needs charge before use, that could hold like 2 hours. This one holds like 7 min..I have varicose vein in my left leg area. It's not bad at all and I feel my vein problem will go away probably around 2-3 months. It is awesome. Microwave for about a minute, wrap up in a towel and going back and forth. My vein doesn't hurt at all and I avoid fried food and soda.Our massage therapists love these stones. They retain heat well, but do not get so hot that they burn their hands while using them. The preferred method of heating them is in a high-dollar heating pad, which we have, but I would not order again. It was close to $100 and melted to itself after just a few uses. It turns itself off ever hour and is just a real pain.I wish I had purchased these stones before! They are well worth the investment!They heat up nicely and retain their heat.My clients love them and I love them!Love it. Easy to heat up in the microwave. Holds heat great ! No hot spots.
